1. Who I Am

Net Bar is an independent macOS application developed and maintained by a solo developer. For privacy-related enquiries, contact me at hello@netbar.xyz.

2. The App — Zero Data Collection

The Net Bar application itself collects, stores, or transmits no data whatsoever. Specifically, the App does not collect:

• Personal identifying information (name, email, IP address)
• System metrics (CPU, memory, network speeds, disk usage)
• Device identifiers or hardware fingerprints
• Crash reports or diagnostic logs
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Location data

All system information displayed by the App is read locally from macOS APIs and never leaves your device.

3. License Purchases — Lemon Squeezy

Purchases of Net Bar licenses are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), operated by Lemon Squeezy, LLC. Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record, meaning they process your payment, issue your VAT/GST receipt, and handle applicable tax compliance on my behalf.

When you purchase a license, Lemon Squeezy collects:

• Your email address — to deliver your license key and purchase receipt
• Your billing information (name, country, postal code) — for payment processing and tax compliance
• Your payment card details — handled securely by Lemon Squeezy's PCI-compliant infrastructure; I never see or store these
• Your IP address — used by Lemon Squeezy for fraud prevention

I only receive your email address for the purpose of providing license support. I will never sell, rent, or share it with any third party. See Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for full details of their data practices.

4. Affiliate Program — Lemon Squeezy

Net Bar's affiliate program is hosted on the Lemon Squeezy platform. When you sign up as an affiliate, Lemon Squeezy collects your account information (name, email, payment details for payouts) in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

Affiliate link clicks and conversions are tracked by Lemon Squeezy using cookies and attribution technology. Visitors who click an affiliate link may have a tracking cookie set by Lemon Squeezy on their browser to attribute the referral. I do not operate this tracking myself.

5. Website Analytics — Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate visitor behaviour (e.g., page views, traffic sources, geographic region). Google Analytics collects data such as your IP address (anonymised), browser type, pages visited, and session duration.

This data is processed by Google LLC and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. I use this data only in aggregate form to improve the website and do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Cookies

This website uses the following cookies:

• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat) — analytics tracking, expire within 2 years
• Lemon Squeezy affiliate cookies — set when you click an affiliate referral link, used to attribute purchases

No advertising cookies, social media tracking cookies, or other third-party profiling cookies are used.

7. Data Retention

I retain your email address for as long as your license is active or until you request deletion. License purchase records are retained for legal and accounting purposes as required by applicable law. Contact hello@netbar.xyz to request deletion of your personal data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict the processing of your data
• Data portability

9. Children's Privacy

Net Bar is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact me and I will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. For material changes I will make reasonable efforts to notify users by email. Continued use of the App or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
